Mobile Pediatrics of Dallas provides evaluation and treatment for minor, acute illnesses. We come to you when you child is suffering from ailments such as, but not limited to:

• Upper Respiratory Infections
• Cough
• Bronchitis
• Croup
• Pink Eye
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal Pain
• Vomiting
• Earache/Ear Infections
• Swimmer's Ear
• Sinus Infections
• Fever
• Flu symptoms
• Minor cuts
• Rashes
• Eczema
• Impetigo
• Sore throat
• Sore mouth
• Thrush
• Urinary tract infections
• Other minor infections

Labs Performed:

• Rapid Flu testing
• Rapid Strep Testing
• Rapid RSV testing
• Urine dips (older children, no catheterizations)

Does Mobile Pediatrics of Dallas provide telephone consultations?

We will obtain necessary information from you regarding your child's condition, to help determine if a home visit would be appropriate. Once that is established, additional treatment, advice, and recommendations will have be made once your child has been examined and fully evaluated by one of our board certified nurse practitioners.

IMPORTANT:

If your condition is life-threatening call 911 or proceed to the nearest Emergency Room IMMEDIATELY. By acute care we mean the sudden onset of symptoms. Our services do not include emergency situations in which an injury or illness is life-threatening or potentially disabling (deep lacerations, multiple serious injuries, etc.).

Go to the hospital under the following circumstances...

• Infants less than 90 days old with a fever greater than 100.4 rectally
• Poisoning
• Seizures
• Severe bleeding
• Severe broken bones
• Severe burns
• Head trauma with loss of consciousness
